Location The property is located in Berlins district Pankow, sub-area Niederschönhausen, on a quiet locality at the north bank of Panke river and close to public recreation area Schloßpark. Since Pankow was merged with the boroughs Prenzlauer Berg and Weißensee because of the administrative reform in 2001 it is home of about 365,000 residents and it therefore comes out to be the most populated district of Berlin. The street runs southwest from Pasewalker Chaussee and is leading to Schönhausen Palace. Not even the half of the street is accessible by car, the most of the distance is pedestrian area of the park.

Traffic links are good. There is a stop of the streetcar only 400 m away, bus stop at 600 m, city train station Heinersdorf about 900 m and the subway station Pankow about 1.5 km. By car one can take B 109 federal road Pasewalker Chaussee or the A 114 feeder road e.g. connecting to the A 24 state highway Berlin-Hamburg. It's a distance of maybe 8 km to central Berlin around the Alexanderplatz

Shops to buy convenience goods are available within about 600 to 800 m. In the local district center, Breite Str., is a shopping mall. Another one will be developed soon on Hermann-Hesse-Str. (info as of 06/2010). Medical facilities and restaurants are available, too.

Until the end of 2011 Pankow still will be situated within the entry lane of airport Berlin-Tegel, which ia about 7 km away.
