Forst is a town in the Niederlausitz region of the federal state of Brandenburg, district Spree-Neiße. It has a
population of about 21,300 and is base of several enterprises from the metal and logistics industry. The city sits next
to the border of the Republic Poland, about 25 km east of Cottbus.
Bus stops are in close vicinity, also
to get to the train station at a distance of maybe 500 m. From here one gets connection to the regional and
national railway service. By car Forst is connected by the A 15 state highway, the B 112 federal road
and several ordinary roads.
Berlin's Schoenefeld Airport/BBI is about 130 km away, Dresden about
140 km, central Berlin about 150 km and the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, about 320 km. |

The property is located within a redevelopment area.
The solid corner building has been established
at the end of the 19th century on a central location. It impresses with its stucco facade and partially
yellow bricks, semicircular projecting alcove and dome.
At the end of 2009 the building
at Cottbuser Str. 58 has been listed to be monumental protected. Besides the facing, the building comes
with an iron-made stairway and ornamented railing. Please pay your attention on the fact that neither the house
at Bahnhofstr. 60, nor the rear building in the courtyard has been landmarked. Only the street-facing block at
Cottbuser Str.!
All buildings have basement. The reconstruction in 1997 included works on the roofing,
facade, windows, stairways, sanitary and power equipment as well as the heating system.
