Location The property is located in the district-free city of Frankfurt/Oder, which is surrounded by the federal state of Brandenburg and adjacent ot the Republic of Poland, city of Slubice. Frankfurt/Oder has a population of about 62,000 and is divided into 5 districts and several sub-areas. The property in question is sited about 1 km west of the Gubener Vorstadt (Guben Suburbia) in the sub-section Altberesinchen, about 2 km S/W of the city center in an area of mainly 3- to 4-story development. It's a dead-end road. The nearest public transportation is a streetcar route flanking close to the eastern boundary of the property. The highest building of Brandenburg, "Oderturm" (Oder Tower), is also about 2 km away. The 25-story high rise of about 89 m houses offices, a shopping center and a restaurant on the 24th floor, overlooking the city and beyond.

Description The 4-story solid brick building is located within a redevelopment area. It underwent an extensive reconstruction in 1993.

The light-colored facade still shows lovely ornaments and stucco. The front of the house has revamped wooden double box windows, the back has PVC insulated windows. Entrance hall and staircase were lavishly designed with an interesting mixture of stoneware and hardwood plus additional decorating wall panels and glazed railing between cast-iron struts. The office and apartment building has a gas central heating and hot-water system.

The open paved back area features several parking lots arranged in a circle which is framed by well-kept greeneries. The access is done at the East-facing gable of the house.
